In-ground poles and concrete
Removing a pole set in concrete is a tough job. We can often cut the pole at the base. Please send us photos of the pole and where it meets the ground so we can see the best way to handle it.
Portable hoops with water or sand
Portable hoops are often filled with sand or water for stability. You don't need to drain it yourself; we can handle the weight and the mess of getting it moved and loaded.
Dismantling the backboard
Large glass or acrylic backboards can be heavy and fragile. Our team carefully removes the backboard and rim before taking down the main pole or frame.

Old hoops can be top-heavy and dangerous to move. We use the right equipment to ensure the hoop doesn't fall and cause damage to your property during removal.

Common questions
Will you remove the concrete base from an in-ground hoop?
We typically cut the pole flush with the ground. If you need the entire concrete footer dug up, please let us know so we can discuss the additional work.
Can you take a hoop that is attached to my garage?
Yes, we can remove wall-mounted backboards. We will detach the hardware and haul the pieces away.
What if the base is filled with sand?
That's no problem. We handle the removal of the base even if it is full of wet sand or water.
