Generators we can haul away
We handle various sizes and types of power generators.
- Portable gas generators
- Diesel-powered generators
- Small standby units
- Inverter generators
Important: Drain the fuel
You must drain all gasoline or diesel from the generator before we can pick it up. We cannot haul equipment that still contains fuel.
Disconnected from the home
If the generator is a standby unit, it must be safely disconnected from your home's electrical system and gas lines and ready for removal before pickup. Space Back Junk Removals does not perform utility, gas, electrical, refrigerant, or plumbing disconnections.
Handling the weight
Generators are heavy and often have small wheels that don't work well on grass. Our crew will handle the heavy lifting to get it into our truck.
Commercial generator removal
We also work with businesses that need to clear out old backup power equipment. Tell us the size and location for a custom quote.
Send photos for a quote
A photo of the generator and its data plate (if visible) helps us understand the size and weight. We'll provide a free quote based on that info.
Common questions
Do you take the batteries from the generator?
Yes, we can usually take the starter battery along with the generator unit.
Can you remove a large whole-home generator?
Yes, as long as it is disconnected from all utilities. If it is on a concrete pad, we will remove the unit from the pad.
Do you take old transfer switches?
If you have the electrical components already removed from the wall, we can haul them away as well.
