What refrigerators we can remove
Commercial kitchens use large, heavy cooling units that require careful handling. We can haul away most stand-alone units.
- Reach-in refrigerators
- Beverage coolers and glass-front displays
- Sandwich and pizza prep tables
- Undercounter refrigeration units
- Keg coolers and bar fridges
Preparation for pickup
All units must be fully disconnected and emptied before our crew arrives. We do not handle refrigerant recovery or disconnection of utilities.
Ensure the fridge is unplugged and all water, gas, or drain lines are safely disconnected and ready for removal before pickup. Space Back Junk Removals does not perform utility, gas, electrical, refrigerant, or plumbing disconnections.
Loading docks and building access
Commercial units are often wider than standard doors. Please let us know if we can use a loading dock or if the unit is located in a tight space that requires specific tools or a large crew.
Size and weight considerations
Commercial fridges are significantly heavier than residential models. Tell us the dimensions and the floor the unit is on so we can bring the right equipment.

Common questions
Do you provide refrigerant recovery?
No. You must have a professional recover the refrigerant and certify the unit is ready for transport before we arrive.
Can you remove a walk-in cooler?
We primarily handle stand-alone units. For walk-ins, please send photos so we can evaluate the job.
Do I need to move the fridge outside?
No. As long as it is disconnected and emptied, our crew will pick it up from its current location inside your building.
