Common situations
This comes up most during kitchen remodels, when a built-in wall oven is swapped out, or when a freestanding range is being replaced.
Before pickup
Electric ovens need to be unplugged. Gas ovens need the gas line disconnected before we show up — we don't disconnect gas lines ourselves.
- Disconnect gas lines on gas ovens before we arrive
- Unplug electric ovens
- Pull built-in units out from the wall cabinet if possible
- Clear out any racks or loose parts
How removal works
Once the oven is disconnected, we carry it out of your kitchen or garage and load it up. Let us know if it's a built-in unit, since those can be heavier and more awkward to handle.
